Game ini mirip Earth2150â„¢ , tapi game ini memiliki keunikan tersendiri.
Game ini memiliki bermacam macam teknologi Radar, lebih difokuskan ke artileri, dan teknologi "counter-battery".
Game ini di rilis pada tahun 1999 untuk platform PC Game dan Playstation.
Dan pada tahun 2004, game ini dirilis menjadi GPL oleh Eidos-Interactiveâ„¢ .
Meskipun Untuk Video Player dan Video nya, Networking Code dan
Sound data tidak di rilis menjadi GPL, karena Dibuat oleh perusahaan diluar Eidos dan Pumkin.
Menurutku, game ini lebih bagus dari Red Alert 1 dan Red Alert 2, dari sisi grafik, kualitasnya lebih bagus, dan dari segi teknologi, game ini lebih bagus dan lebih banyak dan bervariasi.
Kalian dapat membuat berbagai macam jenis Tank, VTOL, Cyborg, dll.
Ada berbagai macam jenis Body, Roda, Senjata,dll yang siap di untuk dibentuk sesuai keinginanmu.

Untuk menggunakan Cheats di atas, kamu harus memainkan yang versi 0.2.x
Pada versi 0.2.x ini tidak ada dukungan Network play tapi support banyak cheat.

Dan besar file "OpenGL binary" nya adalah 561KB dan
"Software binary" adalah 580K.

Pada saat artikel ini ditulis, versi 2.0.10 sudah keluar.
Sudah mensupport Networking Play yang lebih baik dan lebih stabil dibanding versi 2.0.3 yang dulu aku download.
Tapi tidak bisa cheat pada versi 2.0.3
Cuman kode cheat "timedemo" saja yang bisa.
Lalu untuk menjalankan Cheat Code pada versi 2.0.7 keatas, tekan tombol Left Shift + Backspace lalu tekan tombol t, setelah itu masukkan code cheatnya.
Jika kalian pernah memainkan versi 0.2.x, maka format data sudah tidak kompetible lagi dengan versi 2.x.x

1.Download filenya dan taruh di Folder HOME mu.

2.Rubah permisionya, menjadi 777
[ai@localhost ~]$ chmod 0777 warzone2100-2.0.10.mojo
3.sekarang jalankan filenya:

maka akan muncul GUI Installer seperti ini:

Pilih Single Player Campaign, dan pilih New Campaign jika baru main, atau pilih Load Campaign jika ingin melanjutkan dari game yang sudah di save sebelumnya. ( Untuk me save, tekan tombol Esc nanti akan muncul pilihan Save Game )

Problem/Masalah

Jika muncul pesan error library bernama libphysfs-1.0.so.0 hilang, maka
1.Install libphysfs1.0
[root@localhost Warzone2100-2.0.10]# urpmi libphysfs1.0
2.jika sudah meninstall libphysfs1.0 dan masih error, lakukan Symbolic Link
[root@localhost Warzone2100-2.0.10]# ln -s /usr/lib/libphysfs-1.0.so.1.0.0 /usr/lib/libphysfs-1.0.so.0
