Understanding Linux

Postby gugarthur » Sat Nov 29, 2008 2:32 am

Hi,

I'm begginer in Linux and I want to know why I'm getting this error when I try to open the HD on my Desktop:

Could not mount device.
The reported error was:
mount: I could not determine the filesystem type, and none was specified

I use Windows Vista and I run Knoppix in a Virtual Machine with VMware Player.
